CrestHill Suites - Albany

• Sales Manager
  
  Part-time position (15-20 hours per week) starts January 9, 2012, and is a home-based position. Duties include:

  • Call on any client category necessary for the growth of business for the hotel with focus on corporations, university and associations.  In-person calls where possible.
  • Be a part of the strategy of business growth for the hotel
  • Develop small meeting clientele
  • Partner with Guest Services Manager on the execution of booked meetings and events
  • Execute hotel site inspections for potential clients
  • Join an Albany Chamber committee
  • Join a Guilderland Chamber committee
  • Attend ESSAE meetings
  • Attend MPI events
  • Review other community events with the General Manager where you should be present
  • Submit daily activity email to the General Manager
  • Support from National Sales Manager
  • Submit a weekly sales report to the General Manager and National Sales Manager along with your time sheet.

  
  Hotel sales experience preferred. Previous community involvement preferred. Some college or hotel/travel school preferred. Hourly wage commensurate on experience. Mileage reimbursement at $0.45 per mile. Established budget for attendance for approved events, lunches, and meetings. Paid only when you work. Not other benefits.
